POSITION: REGIONAL AUDITOR / INSPECTOR
SAMIC is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as a Regional Auditor/Inspector. The successful candidate will conduct audits and inspections at abattoirs and related facilities.
Minimum requirements
- National senior certificate (Grade 12) preferably with a minimum of 10 years’ relevant experience in the abattoir and/or red meat industry, OR at least a relevant national diploma in a related field
- Valid meat classification certificate (beef, sheep/goat and pork)
- Fully bilingual in English and Afrikaans (read, write, and speak)
- Valid driver’s licence (Code B/EB)
- Willing and able to travel extensively and relocate to a region as required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good administrative and report-writing abilities
- Entrepreneurial aptitude is beneficial
