SAMIC was appointed by the Department of Agriculture to perform first-line audits at registered feedlots and abattoirs for direct importation of live animals from BLNS (Botswana, Lesotho, Namibia, and Eswatini) countries as per SOP (standard operating procedure) with the Directorate of Animal Health.
