Wool and mohair inspections
SAMIC does independent inspections at wool export stores as authorised under Section 4(1) of the Animal Diseases Act 35 of 1984 on behalf of and under the supervision of the Veterinary Authority of South Africa to ensure compliance to the standard loading procedures of greasy wool to China (and other importing countries).

SAMIC does independent audits at farms on behalf of wool/mohair brokers in all nine provinces of South Africa.
